Fulgurant/scoff

One should never scoff at a man whose handmade suit of electrical wire and LED bulbs lights up in fulgurant pulses whenever his mood changes–how Diapers got his hands on so many complicated circuit boards and electrical supplies in order to create such a suit is a mystery to all.
